Distance from Katra : 80 kms.
Located at a highest point, at an altitude of 2024 meters across which the Jammu - Srinagar National highway passes at a distance of about 110 kms. from Jammu.
 
 
 

Jhajjar Kotli
Distance from Katra : 15 kms.
On the National Highway leading towards Srinagar is the Jajjhar Kotli Tourist Complex, built on the banks of Jajjhar rivulet at a distance of about 35 kms. from Jammu. The crystal clear water of Jajjhar attract the picnickers in large numbers during summer.

 

Mansar Lake
Distance from Katra : 65 kms.
The lake of Mansar is situated 40 kms. in the South of Udhampur town and about 65 kms. from Jammu. Besides, it is also linked with Samba town by a 25 kms. road. It is also connected with Dhar - Udhampur road at Battal by a 7-kms. motorable road.


 
 
Sanasar
Distance from Katra : 100 Kms
only 19Kms. from Patnitop, Sanasar is bowl-shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers. A place for a quiet holiday, the meadow has now been developed as a golf course. It also provides opportunities for Paragliding (Seasonal).
 
 

Amar Singh Palace
The grand french style Amar Singh Palace constructed with Red Stone, built by grandfather of Dr. karan Singh, Maharaja Amar Singh, in the late 1890's is a sight reflecting fascinating glimpses of DOGRA RULERS, History and attracts all the tourist visiting Jammu.

 
 

Bagh-e-Bahu
It is situated under the famous Bahu Fort on a hillock near Tawi river. It is made on the patterns of Mughal Gardens of Kashmir. There is an artificial lake, lush green lawns, flower beds and fountains.

Kol Kandoli
Distance from Katra : 20 Kms
Situated on Jammu Katra road, in Nagrota town. This sacred place is said "Pehla Darshan", for all pilgrims who proceed for mata Vashino Devi's yatra & thousand of piligrims throng this temple on every day during yatra.

 
 

Shiv Khori
Distance from Katra : 85 Kms
This ancient sacred cave, almost a kilometer long with 4 feet high naturally formed shivling can be reached after a trekking of 3 kms from the place of it's base camp called Ransoo, along a scenic route.

 
 

Bhumika Temple
Distance from Katra : 1.5 Kms
Houses a cluster of temples, around a mountain spring. The water of this holy spring is bestowed with unique medcinal properties and is said to be a remedy for any ailments.

 
 

Sudh Mahadev & Gauri Kund
Distance from Katra : 15 Kms
Situated at an altitude of 1225 mtrs, ancient temple of Lord Shiva, famous for Trishul, which is said to belong to Lord Shiva. Just a little ahead of Sudh Mahadev, Gauri Kund, named after Goddess Parvati(Gauri), is situated, which is the Legendary spring where the goddess Parvati used to take bath.

 
 

Bawa Jitto
Distance from Katra : 6 Kms
Bawa Jitto, who was hailing from AGGAR village, was a great saint & ardent devotee of Mata Vashino Devi. Bawa Jitto's gigantic statue is worth witnessing on this road of Katra-Reasi.

Raghunath Temple
The Raghunath Mandir takes pride of place being situated right in the heart of the city. It consists of a cluster of temples and is the largest temple complex in northern India. Its inner sanctums contain gigantic statues of deities and numerous ‘lingams’. It contains representatives of almost the entire Hindu pantheon, which makes it a rare site to behold.

 
 

Ranbireshwar Temple
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, built by Maharaja Ranbir Singh and the distinctive in this temple is that Lord Shiva is shown in Moustaches and a visit to this temple will quench your spiritual and divine thirst.

 
 

Bahu Fort (Bawey Wali Mata)
The famous temple of Bawey Wali Mata is inside the Bahu Fort where, every Tuesday and Sunday, pilgrims throng to worship the goddess.
